Amy Gagnon M.A.D.E.M., B.E.M., A.B.C.P.
Amy Gagnon is a graduate from York University’s Mater of Art in Disaster and Emergency Management program. Prior to attending courses at York, she completed certificates in Business Continuity Planning, Emergency Management and Pandemic Planning at George Brown College, as well as IMS 100, IMS 200 and EM 200 offered by Emergency Management Ontario. In addition to being certified in Basic Proficiency in Amateur Radio, she currently holds the professional certification of Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) with the Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI). She is also a member of IAEM and OAEM associations and a Canadian Red Cross Volunteer in the Disaster Management Program for the last 3 years. In 2008 she was the honored recipient of Ontario Association of Emergency Managers’ Award of Recognition for Achievement as Emergency Management Undergraduate Student and in 2009 was the recipient of an Award of Recognition for Achievement as Emergency Management Graduate Student.
